I bought this for my boyfriend’s mom last year as a Christmas gift and she loved it! I also just so happened to fall in love with it the moment it arrived! Immediately I knew I had to buy one for myself. If you need to de-stress, just sit down and watch the new sceneries form! Very mesmerizing and the colors are beautiful. I prefer a lit background, like in front of a window or light because it makes everything sparkle and stand out more. The price is intimidating, but in the end it’s definitely worth it!This was a birthday present.....ordered the frame in cherrywood with blue sand....it came with a very LITE wood & teal sand. So, I was very disappointed....but, since the recipient didn't know what was ordered, he absolutely loved it! So, overall, I am happy & pleased with the purchase.....just didn't get as requested!Bought this as a gift for my mom. She wanted sand art and after much research I felt that although there were cheaper options those options looked cheap and were plastic. The quality is top notch and there is a level of craftsmanship that you wont find in the Chinese imports flooding the marketplace. Highly recommended.Absolutely love it. I find it very relaxing to watch. The frame is quality made and decent stain. The colors are not as bright as i had hoped, but the colored water gives it a nice background. Love the black and different colors of green sand with glitter. Reminds me of the northern lights when watching it. Yes it is on the pricey side, but would make an excellent gift.I’m going to buy one of these for me! I got this for a Christmas present for my sister. She hasn’t received it yet. But I can’t wait for her to see it!!!!! It’s beautiful! The wood is so nice and the sand is gorgeous! Worth the money!!!! If you’re thinking of getting it, do it! You get what you pay for!Nice workmanship, it is made of unstained cherry wood and pivots smoothly. The sand flows nicely, every pattern is different. Great desktop piece!!!This was a gift to my 86 yr. old mother. She fell in love with this in Depot Bay, OR. I wanted to surpride her. She loves it and moves it around so she'll see a new piece of art.This came on time, and so far seems to work well. The kids like to watch it. However, it is extremely small in size for what you pay. I won't buy another simply because of cost.Absolutely beautiful but Wish the Customs did not charge me fees.
