I've had these blankets hung outside for almost 4 months now. I use a hole that I dug as a recording studio and I bought these to drape over the entrance of the hole to serve as a door. They've been subject to constant U.V. exposure and rained on at least 3 times. Still, they are intact and the insides are evenly distributed throughout the blankets. I've really been impressed by the quality of these, especially considering they were about the cheapest ones I could find on Amazon that were 65 lbs per dozen.Use many of this sort of item for my sign business to protect things in transit. There are better ones out there but not for the price per blanket. For the money spent these are awesome. Will by more!Got these to wrap up a desk so that it wouldn't get scratched. Great delivery timing by Amazon to get me these blankets right before I had to move out of my old apartment. Got home and everything was fine. Used ratchet straps that were also available on Amazon to get the job done right. Thanks again for good product. Did not drop these into water even though it was raining. Most important aspect was protecting the desk from scratches, etc.I could've gotten thinner ones but these were by far the best bang for the buck. They are very thick and heavy and look to be very durable.
