We were moving ourselves and I had seen bands like these that the professionals used so I got a set and am so glad I did. All of the important piece of important furniture was wrapped in a quilt then one or more of these bands . They held 2000 miles on a truck, holding in place. The friends that helped us pack loved them and my husband was so grateful I had gotten these. They are a must have.!I saved all of them for our next move and will buy more if I need to.These are huge rubber bands perfect for moving. Instead of having your furniture covered with paper and then wrapped in plastic like a mummy, use these. The plastic wrap is a real pain to remove.Get moving blankets and use the rubber bands to secure them. I think they will be very helpful .These are very strong and durable.Bought these for an interstate move I was doing myself with the assistance of some hired help. These bands are invaluable combined with moving blankets to protect furniture. At first I thought there was no way they would stretch far enough to cover some of my larger furniture - was waiting for the inevitable "snap" and self inflicted pain. Never happened. Even experienced movers were impressed and asked where I got them.It's like exercise bands meet furniture covers...the bands came in three sizes and worked perfectly to hold furniture covers in place during our move.put a moving blanket over a chair, dresser or whatever ..... then put these over to hold the blanked in place ... and then if you wish ... it is all held in place to shrink wrap ..... worth every penny and more ...I was glad to find that the sizes mentioned were the single width of the rubber.So e.g. a 42in band is actually 84in of rubber.I also ordered bands from another supplier on amazon, and their 84in bands were only 42in.So yes I'm really happy with these ones for about the same price (as the other) but twice as many bands.Arrived quickly and i was able to test it out at my delivery company. No issues so far, but need more testing as we are looking to replace the use of shrinkwrap to be more eco-friendly. My teams are still getting used to the change. Bands have not broken so far and we are really putting them through a tough test. Only drawback is the smell of rubber but that's what you get with genuine product.I used these to keep moving blankets wrapped around things like tv’s and such worked greatGood quality. Durable. Came next day. Much better than wrapping in cling/shrink wrap or taping moving blankets to antique items. Purchased 12 more xtra large for my piano move.
