Denon DL-110 High Output Moving Coil Phono Cartridge - Premium Audiophile Vinyl Record Player Stylus for Turntables - Perfect for Home Audio Systems & Music Enthusiasts

I purchased this cartridge to replace my DL-160 which got damaged during turntable cleaning. Initially I was trying to get DL-160 to avoid possible disruption of quality I got used to in past years, but it seems this model got obsoleted recently. After brief hesitation I decided to order it from Amazon fulfilled by 3rd party. The cartridge performs very well, I do not hear difference comparing to my previous 160. DL-110 brings great balance between softness and vibrancy of some other competing products.The reason I removed one star is the fact the cartridge box neither internal vanity box aren't sealed in any way which does not guarantee product is brand new. Unlike sealed box of DL-160, the 110 model could have been used and returned but I no one will ever know which is kinda disturbing. However, the piece I purchased works great and hope to last longer than it's predecessor. P.S.My SL-1200GLD turntable works with Yamaha A-S500 and pair of rare JBL L90 speakers.
