I am a first responser and an EMT in training and I work in forestry and on job sites in a rural area. I keep this bag in my truck for job site emergencies or anything else that would have a long response time. The bag is a little oversized for me, even with a ton of stuff, i like the extra space but do make sure this is the size you want. The main compartment's outer walls are foam lined and hold their shape, whereas most bags in this price range do flop over. The reflective stitching is actually quite handy and a great touch, I can always find my bag in the dark. The side reflectors are also very good. The only downside is that the shoulder strap is short. I'm 5' 10" and the bag hangs a little above my hip, fine for a jump bag but not comfortable for a special event bag that you would carry around a lot, but the strap is removable. The dividers in the main compartment do not go all the way to the lid so I made a cardboard sleeve for my 10"x30" trauma pad and some other large flat things and it all goes in that space nicely just laying on everything else. The side pockets are nice and big. Zippers are great, not incredibly heavy duty but I would never anticipate a problem. The handles are nice and actually come together (something that other bags received bad reviews about). I filled mine with a custom version of AllThingsFirstAid.com's EMT kit plus a few of my own additions and there is a bit of room (the website has a list of what's included in case you wanted to see what my bag fit). If anyone posts questions I'll do my best to answer. Sorry for the long review, good luck with your shopping!Wow! This bag is pretty dang incredible. I bought it after surfing the web and reading reviews for several hours and have not been disappointed. I use it as my emergency bag that I keep in my car. Im an Eagle Scout who really likes to be prepared, specifically when it comes to first aid.It comfortably fits: a Philips AED, rescuscitation masks and other CPR equipment, a considerable amount of gauze and bulky dressing, several water-jel 4x4s, individual water-jel packets and pump spray, a large SAM splint, arm sling, finger splints, Quik-Clot trauma dressings (2), several triangular and flex bandages, a 100 + assorted bandaids, tape, a 4oz bag of activated charcoal, oral airways (various sizes), CAT, some oral and topical medications, snake bite kit, skin-stapler, gloves, penlight, sharpies, first aid manual, hand warmers and ice pack, and a fair bit more. Now, the bag is pretty full but my point is this bag will pack way more than I thought it would when i first received it and it seems like my fairly complete BLS first aid fits nicely and its all easy to access. Im not a paramedic but i do have several friends who practice medicine (paramedics, nurses, pharmacists, doctors) and they have all commented about how nice the bag is and the thouroughness of the contents inside. I recommend this product with 5 stars due to its size, durability (zippers and straps seem very sturdy and move easily with no jams), dividers, comfortability in carry, reflective strips, and cushion for more sensitve first aid items. My only wish is that they made an XL bag with just a bit more room...me being the first aid junkie that I am will surely find more items to put in over time, but really no serious complaintsI got the bag in last week, about three days after ordering so that part was great (I paid for faster shipping - or rather my company did). I do medical standbys for events (concerts, conventions, tv shows, etc) so I was in need of a good bag that's easily mobile as we do a lot of moving around.I must admit I thought the bag would be much larger when I ordered it, it is in fact relatively small compared to the jumps we generally use on the ambulance (back when i used to work on a rig). I was able to SQUEEZE a bit of everything in it with some effort and god-like organizational skills on my part, but a lot of the extra stuff I had to take out. Not too bad. So what? Instead of having 7 comp wraps I'll have 4? Oh well. The only other negative I can count against it is that the side pockets do not go all the way / near the top of the bag. They're like half pockets which is annoying since I like to stuff them with trauma wraps, gauze, Sam splints, etc.Quality of the bag is top notch professional and seems very durable. The dayglo on the sides is nice and bright. Zippers are smooth and durable. All in all, it's a good bag for the price and gets 3.5-4.0 stars from me. It beats the hell out of that cheesy pre-stocked orange bag here on amazon.I took pictures of what I could fit in the bag, but can upload on iPhone. I'll try to remember to post them soon. The pictures made me question the capacity of the bag even after looking at the measurements but rest assured this bag is plenty large. Very durable material and the dividers are just amazing. Being able to move them (hook and loop allows you to move the dividers around in case you didn't read that part) to create the perfect sizes allows me to feel like my items are organized properly and won't move around inside the bag. There's enough of them to create plenty of compartments. I disliked the rubberized emblem on the top of the bag but it is easily removable without damaging the integrity of the bag if you're careful. Just pop the threads out using a knife and you're good to go.I'm a dual credential athletic trainer and and volunteer EMT in a very rural area. This bag has enough room to keep everything I need and a little more. I am able to carry basic emergency supplies and a basic set of athletic training supplies all in one bag. The side pockets are a little small but I was still able to fit everything I wanted. The kit is the perfect size for a go bag. As a general first aid kit to carry around it may be a little overkill, this bag is large enough to hold some specialized equipment. It is a little awkward to carry because it is very long and wide but not very tall but it's not a huge deal. The bag itself is water resistant but I took some silicone spray to it to increase the water resistance. I haven't had it in heavy rain for a prolonged period of time but I'm sure it will hold up. Stitching and construction are excellent and it doesn't collapse when empty.Excellent first aid kit i love itI had bought the smaller version and it was a lovely bag for my medicare kit. This bag is just as excellent as the other. I like the fact that it has velcro compartments that can be removed and adjusted as necessary to alter the dimensions of each inner "pocket" to fit variously sized items. All of the seamswork on this bag is excellent, and doesn't look like it would fall apart easily. I've been using this for over a year now and it's held up to well over 50 pounds of products.Again like the other similar model, I like the reflective stripes on the side pockets (very good if you are using it at night time so people can see you from a distance). The handle strap that is in the middle has a velcro encasement to help aid in using it similar to that of a gym-bag style, which makes it very easy to lug around.I would recommend this product.Me encanta! Estoy fascinada, muy espaciosa y además puedes hacer los compartimentos a tu gusto! Incluye seis módulos con Velcro que puedes acomodar como quieras, pegar y despegar acordé a tus necesidades puesto que existe Velcro en los bordes.También tiene dos compartimentos a cada lado muy amplios.Incluye dos agarraderas, una para llevar de mano y la otra para colgarla en el hombro.Great Trauma Bag.Has velcro-ed sections that can adjust to any size. Can be one big open pouch, multiple inside sections or a split main compartment. Outside pockets can fit a bit inside. i found them a bit cramped for most things, so I use it for overstock. The strap is durable for moderate use and weight.Decent bag and we use it for sporting events as first aiders. Works well and we can carry all we need in it.Only complaint is that there are two small outside pouches. should upgrade the size and count to three or four pouches.Arrivato oggi in un solo giorno.Avendolo già riempito e accessoriato per usarlo al lavoro, devo dire che il prodotto è molto promettente.Devo ancora abituarmi ma personalizzazione degli scomparti interni è totalmente libera e offre davvero infinite combinazioni. Consigliato.
